Build pipeline behavior

Servbase currently:
  • installs dependencies in the source root
  • runs the configured supported build command
  • validates the publish directory
Supported build commands:
  • npm run build
  • pnpm build
  • yarn build
  • bun run build
Default publish directory:
  • dist

Output validation

Deployment requires:
  • the publish directory exists after build
  • index.html exists inside the publish directory

Source root notes

  • single top-level folder archives are auto-flattened
  • if the configured root points to output that does not exist yet, Servbase falls back to source root for build execution

Runtime behavior

React apps use build-based deployment behavior. Rebuild may be available where the product flow exposes it, while restart is not documented as a standard React app action.
