Servbase currently exposes two customer-facing database tools from the databases dashboard.

phpMyAdmin

Current behavior:
  • available only for MySQL databases
  • opened from the dashboard using the pma.servbase.net entrypoint
  • receives the selected database name and server host in the launch URL
If the selected database is not MySQL, the dashboard blocks the phpMyAdmin action.

DBZoo

Current behavior:
  • exposed as a SQL browser for database access workflows
  • launched from the dashboard using the db-zoo.servbase.net entrypoint
  • receives the selected database name, host, port, and type in the launch URL
  • used directly for PostgreSQL from the current dashboard flow
DBZoo itself is a separate application in your workspace tree, with pages for:
  • connections
  • explorer
  • query workbench
  • relational diagram
  • server info
  • table browsing

Which tool should you use?

Notes

phpMyAdmin and DBZoo are launch tools from the dashboard. They are not substitutes for quota, credential, or lifecycle management, which stays in the Servbase databases area.
